This is a wonderful hymn poem written by Janice McPherson, which can be sung to the tune Wye Valley. Janice was the wife of Roy McPherson, Pastor, Faith Baptist in Chico, California. She is now rejoicing in His presence.

We have something better,
We who live by grace.
The covenant God gave us,
Nothing can erase.
Based on Christ's own life blood,
The sacrifice once done,
No more to be offered,
'Twas finished by God's Son.

Changed into His glory,
When we see His face.
Stanza Two:
We have something better,

The Spirit now indwells us,
Our daily steps to trace.
He both guides and leads us,
When we'll yielded be,
Illumines us to Scripture,
Its truth He helps us see.

Inheritance is promised
In that better place.
The Jews have land and blessings,
Based upon this earth.
Inheritance in heaven
For us has greater worth.
