Hadley School for the Blind Bible Teacher
Bob Rathbun
(C) 2007

The Hadley School for the Blind in Winnetka, Illinois is the world's
largest correspondence School for the blind. Hadley offers four Bible
courses, which may be taken in any order. My name is Bob Rathbun, and I
am the instructor for these courses. The courses are:

"Old Testament Law and History," a survey of the first 17 books of the
Bible from Genesis through Esther

"Old Testament Poetry and Prophecy," a survey of the next 22 books, from
Job through Malachi

"New Testament Survey," a survey of all 27 books of the New Testament,
from Matthew through Revelation

"Your Bible," which discusses the origin, authority, and transmission of
the Scriptures, as well as various methods of Bible study

Each course consists of 12 lessons and examinations. Each one is
available in braille and on audiocassette. Your assignment for each
lesson consists of your responses to the examination questions. You
should have a complete Bible that is comfortably accessible for you. I
recommend the King James Version.

To enroll in one of these courses free of charge, call Hadley at:

800-323-4238 and ask for Student Services.

Then tell them which course you would like to be enrolled in. For new
students to the School there is a diagnostic test which can be dealt
with quickly. Then they will enroll you in the course of your choice.
I would be delighted to have you as a Bible student.

"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto
the simple" (Psalm 119:130).

"For ever, O LORD, Thy word is settled in heaven" (Psalm 119:89).

"So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the
sense, and caused them to understand the reading" (Nehemiah 8:8).
